A halifax maternity session with Nicole + Devin. They’ve been in front of our cameras for years. It started with their engagement session and grew into more, their wedding, their family, and now this next chapter. They’re getting ready to welcome another baby, and this session carried a lot of meaning.
Nicole’s mom recently passed away. She loved butterflies. So they brought that into the shoot in a simple, personal way. Their daughter drew butterflies across Nicole’s belly and added sparkly stickers to finish it off.
It was one of those sessions that just works. Music playing, lots of movement, their daughter dancing, flipping, and fully being herself. Nothing forced. These are the moments that matter. Real connection, a bit of chaos, and something meaningful underneath it all.
Nicole and Devin, congratulations. This one meant a lot.
