Halifax photographers, Cooked Photography did not start as a commercial studio. Like many professionals, it began with weddings. That meant learning to work quickly, read moments as they happen, and capture real interactions without interrupting them. That foundation shaped everything that followed. Over time, the work expanded.
What started as wedding coverage moved into events, then commercial projects, then ongoing work with businesses and organizations across Halifax and Nova Scotia. The approach stayed the same, but the environments changed.
Today, Cooked Photography focuses on commercial, event, and headshot photography for brands, teams, and organizations that need consistent, high quality imagery for real use.
A Documentary Foundation
The early years photographing weddings built strong instincts for timing, awareness, and movement. There are no second chances during a wedding day. You learn to anticipate, adapt, and capture what matters as it happens. That same mindset carries into every project now.

Cooked Photography is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a downtown studio for headshots, portraits, and commercial work. Much of the work also happens on location. Offices, event spaces, construction sites, and real working environments across the province and beyond.
