We recently worked with Lindsay Construction to photograph the newly completed Mayflower Curling Club just outside Halifax.
This was final project photography of a brand new facility built for the future of the sport. Bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed, the space brings together performance, accessibility, and community in a way that feels modern without losing the tradition behind it. The new rink was designed to maximize natural light and create a more efficient, accessible environment for players and spectators alike .
Our focus for this shoot was to document the space as it’s meant to be experienced. Clean architectural lines, the scale of the ice, and the details that bring the whole facility together. It’s always a balance between capturing the design and showing how the space actually feels in use. Projects like this are a reminder of how much thought goes into building these environments, and how important it is to photograph them in a way that reflects that.
